JOB ALERT: Community Outreach and Engagement Lead, Pretty In Pink Foundation

Pretty In Pink Foundation is seeking a Community Outreach and Engagement Lead. The ideal candidate, located in the Triangle, will have experience organizing and managing large and small events, have an insatiable desire to encourage others to support our mission, and have an organized head that can juggle many moving parts for many activities.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Outreach and Engagement Manager implements fundraising and community outreach strategies in alignment with the organization’s overall business development goals for the Triangle to the Coast region. This position plays the lead role in organizing the foundation signature event, supporting third-party events, soliciting prospects for donations and sponsorships, and nurturing existing donors.

The Washington Duke Inn & Executive Conference Center, a AAA Four Diamond luxury property, is currently seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support our family of three hotels, including the Inn, JB Duke Hotel and The Lodge at Duke Medical Center. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for participation in the total sales effort, primarily by providing backup and assistance for the Sales Managers, including typing, filing, distribution of information, computer support and client support, as well as assisting in reporting, trade show support and executing social media strategy. Preferred skills include Microsoft Word and Excel, Delphi experience, two years minimum hotel sales experience or familiarity with hotel operations, and excellent communication skills. The full-time Marketing Manager reports directly to the Executive Director. This role will develop, implement, manage and evaluate all programmatic and organizational marketing efforts and campaigns. Responsible for the development of strategic marketing plans that support organizational expansion, fund development initiatives, and programmatic efforts, the Marketing Manager will build on and innovate existing branding using the best methods to meet determined marketing and outreach goals effectively with a limited budget for maximum visibility, attendance, participation, and engagement.
